Dee Ann is a strong conservative who is committed to lower taxes and less government control of individuals and businesses. While she understands that providing governmental services requires revenues to make it possible, Dee Ann believes that those who work for their money

should not have large numbers of those dollars taken from them by government to fund programs that are, in some instances, unnecessary and inefficient. Dee Ann is committed to finding ways to cut the burden on the taxpayers and find efficient ways to fund necessary programs without overtaxing Alabama citizens.
